For this video, a school friend and I worked together to make a story about Johnny Depp's characters in "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber on Fleet Street", "Sleepy Hollow", and "Edward Scissorhands". In this story, Johnny Depp starts to reminisce on his past lives, wondering if his punishment will come. This project is intended for a 5.1 setup, but should be fine in stereo. All the music, ambience and sound effects were edited from samples found in sound libraries made available to us. the videos came from YouTube clips cut from the original movies (as you can tell with some of the watermarks still being visible). The voice of Johnny Depp belongs to a friend of mine. Thanks for listening!
A FJM Productions for Audio Productions Lab 1: We wanted to go for a Comedic movie scene of dinosaurs in space. We used Audio from Sound Ideas SFX for the project, using alarms, the panicked crowds, dinosaurs and the space ship. Meghan – Voiced the Protagonist, mixed the final audio, and wrote the script. Jaculynn – Voiced the AI– wrote the document, found some spare SFX. Faith – helped record the Voice recordings and spruce up the final piece with her insight. Voice Overs were recorded in the studio. All sound effects were used from the soundideas.sourceaudio.com Music samples were converted from YouTube (from “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” Soundtrack). Some dinosaur roars were also converted from YouTube, mostly from parts of “The Making of Jurassic World” and “The many T-Rex Sounds in Jurassic Park" were utilized in this audio project. I have created visual aid to represent some parts of what is happening with the scene. Thanks for listening!
This piece of audio is something I completed in May 2018 for my sound design class (one of my first sound design projects ever). The riddle is a quote from the book "A Court of Thorns and Roses" by Sarah J. Maas. The poem that occurs in the middle of the soundtrack was written and narrated by me and is based off the series. All sound effects were found on the Sound Ideas SFX library provided by The University of Texas at Dallas. Songs included in this mix are: "The Games Begin" by James Newton Howard on the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (Original Motion Picture Score), and "I Found" by Amber Run on their album 5AM. I also took a small sample from "The Hobbit" movie's Gollum voice and a bit of Bilbo Baggins to create more characters in my story. Thanks for listening!
